POCKET EEYORE CREATED 30 YEARS AGO - SMALL NUMBER FOUND IN VAULT!

The R. John Wright "Pocket Series" began with the release of "Pocket Pooh" in 1993. This delightful miniature bear proved to be so popular that an entire "Pocket-size" collection grew out of it based on the characters in the Winnie-the-Pooh books by A. A. Milne and illustrated by E. H. Shepard. The third issue in the series was "Pocket Eeyore." This delightful small version of Eeyore is fully jointed and made of custom-made plush coating with glass eyes and hand-embroidered features. His mane is made of wool yarn which is also added to his tacked-on tail. Like all R. John Wright Pocket animals, Eeyore was first sculpted in wax and molded using custom metal molds to give him sculptural form and consistency in the production.

Pocket Eeyore was produced in a limited edition of 3500 individually-numbered pieces. Each came enclosed in a deluxe RJW presentation box with a Shepard watercolor on the lid. Included was an illustrated booklet, the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity, and the forms for owner registration.

The Pocket Eeyore offered here is a standard edition piece and comes directly from R. John Wright Archives in pristine as-new condition.
