How true! Especially in the case of R. John Wright dolls. John loved beautifully tailored and finished clothing. He always insisted that the clothing we made for our figures be properly finished and detailed. Button holes, mother of pearl buttons, French seams, even some felt edges would be hemmed or fully lined. Many of our fabrics were custom printed or vintage. All our felts are 100% wool imported from Germany. Beautiful imported Swiss/French laces and trims were carefully researched for quality and scale. And don't get us started on the shoes & boots! All hand cobbled on custom cast metal lasts, with tiny buckles, custom shoe laces, and closures. Plus hats! Molded felt, carefully researched bonnets and caps of delicate batiste or wool. The list of perfection goes on and on.....
