Flower Fairies of the Garden - The Sweet Pea Fairy™ is constructed of the finest all wool felt. She measures 11 1/2" tall and is fully jointed at shoulders, hips and neck with new ball & socket jointing system. The Sweet Pea Fairy has a sculpural hollow body with an internal wood mechanism to connect her limbs and head - a first for R. John Wright. This new innovative jointing system allows for expressive posing. The graceful hands are sewn with individual fingers and the facial features are delicately hand painted. The Sweet Pea Fairy has a wig of the finest imported mohair. Her lovely fairy wings are sewn of fine silk organza and delicately hand colored.

This Garden Flower Fairy™ is dressed per the original Cicely Mary Barker illustrations in a 2-piece outfit consisting of a felt petal skirt and a fitted silk bodice. She wears hand-dyed knit silk tights and dainty silk and leather slippers on her feet.

The companion piece to the Sweet Pea Baby Fairy™, The Sweet Pea Fairy™ will be produced in an edition limited to 250 pieces worldwide. Each will come enclosed in a deluxe RJW presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
