We are pleased to announce the additon of The Queen of Hearts to the R. John Wright ALICE IN WONDERLAND COLLECTION. Authentically based on Sir John Tenniel's classic illustrations, The Queen of Hearts will stand a formidable 20" tall. She will be fully jointed and constructed of the finest all wool felt with an amazing molded character head with intaglio eyes, open mouth, hand painted features, a wig made of the finest mohair will frame her face, and her expressive felt hands will feature individual fingers.
The Queen of Heart's incredibley detailed costume will consist of a regal robe emblazoned with a printed and pieced felt geometric design in heraldic hues. She will have cotton undergarments, tights, and laced period slippers on her feet. The amazing headress will include a crown and wimple made of stiffened buckram and felt. Exactly as shown in the classic illustrations, drop-shape earrings will dangle from each ear. In one hand The Queen of Hearts will hold her heart-shaped fan constructed of wood and felt.
The Queen of Hearts will be produced in a limited edition of just 250 pieces worldwide and will come enclosed in a deluxe RJW presentation box along with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
