We are happy to show the first pictures of Walt Disney's immortal character Mickey Mouse produced by R. John Wright Dolls! The Premiere R. John Wright Mickey Mouse is constructed of the finest all-wool felt with molded and hand painted features and a leather nose and tail. Closely based on Mickey as he appeared in the late 1930's, Mickey measures approximately 12" tall and is fully jointed at the neck and shoulders and hips. He is dressed in the trademark red shorts and yellow shoes, also made of felt. Like previous classic RJW dolls from Snow White and Pinocchio, the R. John Wright Mickey Mouse is destined to become the definitive version of this beloved character!
Mickey Mouse was produced in an very limited edition of just 500 pieces. He made his debut at the annual Doll and Teddy Bear Weekend at Walt Disney World on March 18th where registered attendees were given the first opportunity to acquire him for their collection. Each Mickey Mouse came enclosed in its own deluxe RJW presentation box and included a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration. A special one-of-a-kind auction piece, "Mickey Mouse - The Band Concert" was also created exclusively for the event.
