Mary Frances and her little sister, Baby Grace, are charming additons to the VICTORIAN CHILDREN COLLECTION. Mary Frances - Baby Grace's older sister - was the souvenir of the "Victorian Yuletide" dinner event at the 2011 R. John Wright Convention. She measures 10" tall and is fully jointed with the RJW ball & socket jointing system with internal wooden mechanism. Made entirely of felt with hand painted features and mohair wig, she is a perfect 'cabinet-sized' doll.
Mary Frances' period bonnet is made of felt lined in pure silk with matching silk ribbons in a deep claret shade with tiny handmade felt roses. Her tailored skirt and capelet are also lined in silk and trimmed with alpaca plush. She holds a matching muff to warm her hands which have tiny individually sewn fingers. Her outfit also includes a calico cotton blouse, detailed undergarments, cotton stockings, and fine hand-cobbled leather boots.
Mary Frances was made in a limited edition of only 100 pieces worldwide. Each doll came beautifully packaged in a deluxe RJW presentation box with a signed certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
