The March Hare joins The Mad Hatter as one of the characters in the acclaimed R. John Wright ALICE IN WONDERLAND COLLECTION. Based faithfully on the immortal books written by Lewis Carroll and illustrated by Sir John Tenniel, The March Hare will stand approximately 16" tall. He will be fully jointed and constructed of the finest mohair plush and felt with a molded character head with hand painted inset leather eyes, embroidered features, inserted whiskers, and felt "human-style" hands with individual fingers.
Authentic down to the last detail, The March Hare appears as Alice saw him at the Mad Tea-Party dressed in a tailored, fully-lined felt jacket, fitted polka dot waistcoat, necktie, and striped felt trousers. Just as in Tenniel's illustrations, a scattering of straw lies askew on the top of his head.
The March Hare will be produced in a limited edition of just 250 pieces worldwide and will come enclosed in a deluxe RJW presentation box along with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
