From the original English nursery rhyme of the same name, Little Maid, Pretty Maid is outfitted in a period costume consisting of a custom-dyed silk underskirt topped by a gown of custom-printed floral fabric. A dainty mob cap and apron of the finest cotton batiste and tiny cobbled slippers complete her charming ensemble. Under one arm, she holds a finely detailed wooden pail with rope handle. This custom-made miniature wood accessory was specially commissioned by the renowned ANRI company in Italy. Little Maid, Pretty Maid joins Little Tommy Tittlemouse and Daffy Down Dilly - both previous, sold out issues in the Mother Goose series. Limited to only 150 pieces worldwide, each mouse comes in a deluxe RJW presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.

The next piece in the Mother Goose series will be "Little Jack Horner."

Little Maid, Pretty Maid was the souvenir at a ticketed breakfast event during the 2010 R. John Wright Convention. The remaining pieces are available only by direct purchase from R. John Wright Dolls while limited quantities remain in the edition.
