Based on the enchanting art of Berta Hummel, Friedrich evokes her iconic images of childhood perfectly. Standing 12" tall, and made of the finest all-wool felt, Friedrich introduces a new face sculpt with an open/close mouth and delicate hand painted features. He is fully jointed at shoulders, hips and neck and has a sculpural hollow felt body and molded limbs. Friedrich's hands have individually sewn fingers and his wig is made of the finest imported mohair.

Friedrich is costumed in a German-style outfit made entirely of fine custom dyed all-wool felt at the R. John Wright workshop. The clothing has been artistically airbrushed in several custom-blended shades to create the distinctive coloration. Friedrich's lederhosen trousers include leather suspenders embossed with a decorative design. His felt jacket is fully lined and he wears a felt cap atop his head. Felt stockings and hand cobbled leather boots complete his rustic ensemble.

Friedrich comes holding a large open umbrella ingeniously made of molded felt with a bent wood handle. The entire umbrella has been carefully shaded and colored with several applications of paint.

Friedrich is produced in a limited edition of just 150 pieces. He will come enclosed in a deluxe RJW presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
